With older NSP boards in use to this day, we see consistent demand for fins that fit inside the NSP boards in E2 construction. E2 boards benefit from Mini Tuttle Fins or “MT fins” and continue to be in demand for riders who either lost a fin, damaged one of their Mini Tuttle fins or perhaps you’ve just purchased a board that needs a Mini Tuttle Fin Set.
MT FINS OR MINI TUTTLE FINS AS THRUSTERS AND SIDEBITES
The majority of boards that fit a Mini Tuttle Fin Set are thrusters (three fins), but certain longboards and Stand-Up paddleboards also used Mini Tuttle Fins as sidebites. The main difference is that the longboards and Stand-Up paddleboards only have Mini Tuttle side fins because the center fin is usually a classic US-box.
MAKING SURE YOU NEED MINI TUTTLE FINS
If you think your surfboard requires Mini Tuttle Fins, there are a few key elements to look out for, select a three-fin or two-fin package from the drop-down below and place your International order with Surf SUP Warehouse Thailand. To learn more and make sure your board has the Mini Tuttle Fin system, simply scroll below.
The Mini Tuttle Fin System was originally designed to create a better, faster and more convenient way to secure a fin to your board. The part that slots into the fin box creates a tight fit that is secured with a single screw from the top. No sanding, additional screwing or wiggling required.
Unfortunately, the system was not universally adopted so after a few years of production NSP adopted the FCS-two tab system that became the industry standard at the time.
